The long awaited 70s evening, featuring “The Real Thing” took place on Saturday 30th October 2021 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Plymouth.
This much anticipated and extremely successful event which included supporting acts, was professionally organised by the 300 club.
It proved to be a fantastic evening and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, some of whom really immersed themselves into the ambience of the 70s by wearing fancy dress of the era.
This was a fabulous and much needed social evening, something many of us have missed in recent times.
At the end of this superb evening the 300 club presented a substantial cheque for £2,500 and a further £300 collected from “furgus” the scotty dog to the MCF Festival chairman, W. Bro. Peter Keaty Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
Look out for the next 300 club production, “The Jersey Boys tribute band” at the Langstone Cliff hotel in Dawlish on Saturday 26th March 2022, a definite date for your diarys.
